Unless otherwise noted, CSEIP training and exams will take place at The Training Center at Identification Technology Partners, located at 12 S Summit Ave in Gaithersburg, MD. Recertification is online-based only.

CSEIP Recertification
Recertification extends the value of the CSEIP certification by demonstrating that the CSEIP certificant is current with new requirements and refreshes knowledge of the original information. This is online, instructor-led, and is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET – 3 p.m. ET. The hour-long exam follows, from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. Upcoming dates are listed below:

- IoT Security: Mitigating Security Risks in Secure Connected Environments webinar recording. This IoT Security Council webinar discussed the risks and risk mitigation approaches for IoT applications and discuss specific vertical market use cases
- Multimodal Payments Convergence – Part Two: Challenges and Opportunities for Implementation white paper. The Transportation Council white paper (the second in a series) describes alternative visions of multimodal payments, the drivers and benefits of payments convergence, potential barriers to implementation, and suggestions for actions to achieve payments convergence
- Transit Contactless Open Payments: Technical Solution for Pay As You Go white paper update published by the U.S. Payments Forum Transit Contactless Open Payments Working Committee. The updated white paper identifies and provides guidance for technical solutions that could be used to implement contactless open payments in transit for two use cases: Use Case 1 – Pay As You Go/Card and Use Case 2 – Pay As You Go/Mobile Device
- Dual-Interface Card Personalization white paper published by the U.S. Payments Forum. The white paper provides the issuance community with an educational resource on offline data authentication (ODA) and offers recommendations for issuing and personalizing dual-interface cards for the U.S. market
- Canadian Card Technical Acceptance white paper published by the U.S. Payments Forum. The white paper provides guidance and clarification to merchants, acquirers, point-of-sale (POS) terminal vendors and POS solution integrators on application selection logic used by U.S. POS terminals to avoid certain interoperability issues when processing Canadian cards
- Understanding the True Costs of Fraud white paper published by the U.S. Payments Forum CNP Fraud Working Committee. The white paper highlights the myriad forms fraud costs take and the impact they have on the various stakeholders, providing insights from different perspectives
- Guidelines for Contactless ATM Transactions – A Guide for ATM Owners and Operators white paper published by the U.S. Payments Forum ATM Working Committee. The document provides guidance to ATM providers, acquirers, processors, and vendors who are preparing to implement contactless EMV transactions at their ATMs in the United States
- Mobile and Digital Wallet webinar series recordings. The U.S. Payments Forum Communications & Education Working Committee has held a series of webinars on mobile and digital wallets, covering the market landscape, security technologies and strategic considerations for merchants and issuers
- EMV 3-D Secure Data Elements webinar recording. The U.S. Payments Forum held a webinar that provided an overview of EMV 3DS and presented detail about the new EMV 3DS data elements
- GetContactless.com web site, created by the U.S. Payments Forum Communications and Education Working Committee. This educational web site answers the most important questions merchants have about contactless payments, including: what are contactless payments? Why offer contactless payments? Are contactless payments as secure as contact chip card payments?
- PIN Bypass in the U.S. Market white paper update by the U.S. Payments Forum. The update adds discussion of PIN Entry Bypass and No CVM limits on contactless transactions
- Understanding Fraud Liability for EMV Contact and Contactless Transactions in the U.S. white paper update by the U.S. Payments Forum. The revised white paper provides an up-to-date resource on fraud liability shifts and adds expanded content on counterfeit and lost-or-stolen fraud liability for contactless transactions

- Applicants must receive a passing (70% correct) grade on all parts of the exam to receive a CSCIP, CSCIP/G or CSCIP/P certification; notification of grades will be sent approximately two weeks after completing the exam
